"At the end of all of that there is a bright shiny rainbow waiting on you to just grab."
--Miami Souse Man
I'm a Chicana artist, designer and educator. I have practiced design for over ten years, alongside studying approaches to liberation and narrative in anthropology, sociology, psychology, spiritual traditions, entrepreneurship, art history, social work, communications, marketing, philosophy, social justice and economics.
Nice to meet you!
I love helping brave people with big ideas. I also believe it's critical to help get different voices and stories into the marketplace, which is why I started an independent graphic design and brand studio in 2018. I received a YWCA small business continuity grant in 2020 and was recently featured in Little Somethings Press 6th Issue. My design was also featured in Arizona Best Of 2021 gallery. I believe that design and branding are tools that can help us change the world. Learn more about my brand design work HERE
Alongside the brand studio, I am a practicing painter. I am currently developing a body of work for a solo exhibition in 2026. As a fine artist, my work is an exploration into self-liberation, resilience and freedom. See more about my painting here
I am dedicated to sharing everything I learn with my community, and I do this through being a teaching artist at The Drawing Studio and serving as adjunct faculty at Pima Community College in the Digital Arts department. I am also a member of the leadership team for Climbing in Color, a 501c3 dedicated to creating space and opportunity for Bipoc identified beings in the climbing community. I live in Tucson, AZ and spend my free time rock climbing.
